Guided Nature Walks with Jack and Sarah

Connecting to the Cycles of Nature & Health Benefits of Being In Nature: Guided Nature Walks with Jack Whelan, RN, Naturalist & Sarah Walker, RMT, Health & Wellness Coach

Wednesdays at 5:30pm at Robbins Pond in Devens May 15, May 22, May 29, June 5. Join Us!

Join us as we take a slow peaceful walk and study the changes taking place as the days grow longer and plants and animals awaken to the warmth of the sun. Bring field guides, note pads and cameras as we observe changes in the creatures and plants around Robbins Pond. This weekly walk will be slow and intentional so that we can quietly observe and share information about the incremental changes taking place over a four-week period. This is a walk intended for all people who are able to slowly and quietly walk a well-groomed trail.

  • Helps us reconnect to the natural world

  • Reduces stress & anxiety

  • Heightens sensory awareness

  • Increases focus and concentration

  • Connects us to the present moment

Cost: $10 per walk or $35 for 4 week series

Since we are a small center and many of our workshops require a minimum number of participants in order to run, we encourage early preregistration to ensure that the workshops will be taking place.
