Everyone deals with feelings of anxiety and depression occasionally. Anxiety has the uncanny ability to convince us that we are the only person that experiences anxiousness and trepidation. Each of us have been affected by anxiety at some point, whether in response to a real threat or a perceived one. In fact, humans are hard-wired to want to flee when they are frightened. That trait has probably kept us out of harm’s way and alive for a millennium.
Many of us are grappling with personal challenges, work imbalances, uncertainty about the future, or the stress of current events. Medical science confirms that stress and anxiety can take a toll on our wellbeing, relationships, and happiness. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or know someone who is - this workshop will provide essential stress management strategies to help you or those you love to regain control of your thoughts and emotions. My approach to managing anxiety is holistic. The goal is to help restore harmony to the mind, body, and spirit to bring the individual back to the “present moment.” We will explore practices to identify and manage triggers, alleviate stress, discharge excess energy, build emotional resilience, soothe the nervous system, and increase overall well-being. Join us for this informative evening and reclaim your peace.
