Falling Inward: Yin Yoga for Autumn with Kristen Lamarre

The energy of Autumn marks the end of the growth season and movement towards slowing, harvesting and preparing. We witness the fiery yang of summer give way to the yin energy of Autumn, with the arrival of longer nights, cooler temperatures and drier air. During this time we too shift from the external, expansive feeling of summer and ease into a more internal, reflective state of being. Yin yoga is the perfect complement to this time of turning inward, we will physically and mentally begin to fold into ourselves, observing all that has come during the growth season and preparing for the slowing of Autumn and Winter.
